Краткий обзор фильма:
История сериала «Инфинити» начинает своё развитие после того, как в результате загадочных и необъяснимых событий Международная космическая станция теряет связь с земным управлением. Никто не может объяснить происходящего, но все знают, что это может привести к необратимым и трагическим последствиям. Экипаж из сериала «Инфинити» терпит бедствие. Вот-вот и случится непоправимое. Одновременно с этими событиями в Казахстане обнаруживают обезглавленное тело, натёртое воском. Эта находка вызывает больше вопросов, чем даёт ответов.
Проводится расследование. Вскоре удаётся идентифицировать тело. Мёртвым оказывается американский астронавт, выполнявший сложную миссию на Международной космической станции.
Эти события сводят вместе нескольких людей. Среди них оказываются представители разных профессий, включая уволенного из космической программы французского астронавта и отвергнутого своей иерархией казахстанского полицейского. Вместе они должны восстановить картину произошедшего.
