Продолжение успешного телесериала X-Files о трёх помешанных на всевозможных заговорах хакерах, более известные как группа Одинокие стрелки, выходят на первый план в своем собственном сериале. Никогда не унывающие от правительственных интриг Байерс, Фрохики и Лэнгли продолжают свои комические похождения. Раскрывая самые темные заговоры, пренебрегая своей личной жизнью, Стрелки обнаруживают, что их главный конкурент по «информационному бизнесу» — умная и красивая Ив Адель Харлоу. В поисках спонсоров для издания газеты «Одинокий стрелок» Байерс, Фрохики и Лэнгли принимают в свой круг Джимми Бонда, который оказывает финансовую поддержку их миссии и присоединяется к ним в поисках правды.
