Краткий обзор фильма:
Лукас Худ — отбывший наказание в тюрьме вор, который некогда предал своих подельников. После отсидки он приезжает в небольшой городок в Пенсильвании, носящий название Банши, где обманом получает пост местного шерифа. Но это не значит, что он забыл своё криминальное прошлое и теперь служит закону. Гангстеры, которых он когда-то предал, всё еще помнят про него и стремятся отомстить. Назревает жесткое противостояние между новоявленным шерифом и его бывшими приятелями. Спокойствие местного населения нарушается, а убийство следует за убийством, когда шериф начинает «наводить порядок» во вверенном его заботам городке.
