Бывший учитель фехтования Мадарамэ Кютаро, человек суровый и немногословный, безуспешно пытается найти работу. И однажды ему предлагают деньги за весьма необычное дело. Сакити просит убить кошку своего хозяина, из-за которой тот превратился в полнейшего ребенка.Голод — не тетка, и Кютаро соглашается на эту работу. Но когда он видит перед собой милую белую кошку, то понимает, что ему легче спрятать её, чем убить. С этого и начинаются приключения кошки и самурая.
