Еще с юности Ён-у и Ли Хвон были обручены. Но нашлись те, кому союз высокородных семей пришелся не по душе. Задумав жестоко расправиться с маленькой невестой, заговорщики терпят поражение. Девочка, чудом избежав страшной участи, попадает в дом заботливой шаманки. Так она превращается из благородной наследницы в ученицу шамана по имени Воль (что в переводе значит «Луна). Ли Хвон с трудом переживает смерть любимой, потеря которой оставила шрам в его сердце, заставив наследного принца династии Чосон стать жестким и бездушным. Но внезапная встреча с красавицей Воль возвращает его к жизни, заставляя заново научиться любить. Пообещав себе, что на этот раз никому не удастся разлучить его с возлюбленной, Ли Хвон узнает страшную правду о причастности своих родных к убийству юной Ён-у. Теперь счастье влюбленных под вопросом.
