Главный герой повествования всегда мечтал побывать на чемпионате мира по футболу и подарить своему сыну незабываемые эмоции с этого турнира. Лучо Буэнавентура потратил все свои сбережения, чтобы добраться до места проведения чемпионата, однако, увы, сборная Аргентины оказалась дисквалифицирована с турнира, из-за чего пришлось следить за другими коллективами.
