Август 2005 года. Во время урагана «Катрина» больница Мемориал превращается в убежище для тысячи жителей Нового Орлеана. Пять дней после катастрофы становятся настоящим вызовом для врачей: из-за наводнения пациенты и горожане оказались заблокированы в здании.
