Терзаемые горькими воспоминаниями о прошлом они играют в прятки. Прошло 14 лет с тех пор, как они расстались. Он уходил всё дальше и дальше, она смотрела ему вслед. В муках совести он лелеет последние нестершиеся воспоминания о ней: звук голоса, милые привычки. Каждый день с замирающим сердцем гадает: «Встречу - не встречу». Он стал детективом, остервенело гоняется за преступниками и постоянно думает: не упустит ли невзначай её. Он должен её отыскать. А пока ему приходится притворяться беспечным черствым разгильдяем, чтобы найти силы жить дальше. Главное для него - помнить и искать.Она - дизайнер одежды. Умная, знает себе цену, ранимая. Не любит дождь, но никогда не носит с собой зонтик. Все эти 14 лет ей снились сны, что он её ищет, но каждый раз она просыпалась в слезах. 14 лет она пыталась забыть.
