Краткий обзор фильма:
Подруги детства Мегги и Эмма вместе выросли в очаровательном пригороде Коннектикута. Эмма сделала успешную карьеру и получила шанс наконец покинуть провинцию и переехать в Китай, а Мегги вышла замуж и вот-вот должна родить ребенка. Однажды Мегги узнает, что у ее любимого мужа Брюса роман на стороне. Не в силах смириться с предательством, женщина тут же подает на развод. Тогда Эмма решает бросить свою высокооплачиваемую работу и остаться с Мегги, чтобы помочь растить ребенка. Героиням предстоит самое волнующее приключение в жизни — материнство.
