Краткий обзор фильма:
В самом начале просмотра британского фэнтезийно-приключенческого сериала «Джамилля и Аладдин» мы знакомимся с девочкой, которая в последнее время чувствует непреодолимое желание отправиться навстречу приключениям. Вот только сейчас она еще слишком мала для того, чтобы путешествовать по миру. Однако Джамилля не унывает. Вместо этого она погружается в чтение книг, изучая выдуманные миры. Однажды дедушка главной героини рассказывает ей о том, что их семья хранит много тайн, скрытых от окружающих. И многие из них можно найти на чердаке. Он рассказывает ей о том, что там уже много поколений находится волшебный сундук. Услышав это, Джамилля тут же отправляется на чердак, где находит тот самый старый сундук. В нем девочка обнаруживает старинную лампу, покрытую толстым слоем пыли. Джамилля решает ее протереть, но именно в этот момент перед ней появляется настоящий Джинн. Девочка говорит ему, что мечтает о приключениях. Через мгновение он переносит ее в мир Аладдина.

Jamillah arrives in Baghdad for the first time accidentally squashing Aladdin's eggs causing him to bump into Mustafa, the market trader, and ruin all of his stock. Mustafa wants Aladdin to pay or go to jail but Aladdin has no money and therefore no choice but to go to jail! Can Jamillah and Aladdin think of a way to get him out?

Dressed as a guard, Jamillah approaches the cell and confidently tells the dozy guard that he is dismissed. Her confidence confuses him and she and Genie get Aladdin out. Aladdin can't believe he has a genie and races off shouting joyfully to all of Baghdad.
